Lorenzo Lotto at the National Gallery

December 2018

This project, which focused on collaboration, worked to create accurate representations of the portraits created by Lorenzo Lotto in the 16th Century for a living history event in the National Gallery, London. My partner (Adriane Gaché) and I worked recreate ‘The Portrait of an Old Man With Gloves’, painted in c.1543, allowed us to divide up tasks to focus on and build upon areas specific to our interests. For instance, I was able to focus on the millinery and accessories, along with some of the main garment construction.
